Spend Your Sunday Mornings Having Fun and Getting Fit!

Bendigo Athletic Club is located in central Victoria and  was established in 1974 to cater for athletes of all genders, ages and abilities.  The season goes from April through to September for people who want to run distance or middle distance.  We meet on Sunday mornings in serene bush settings in and around the Bendigo region.  The Club promotes athletics as an enjoyable healthy alternative for people of all ages and abilities.  Times don't matter as much as Health, Fitness and Fun!

Aaron Norton Scoops the Pool!

Aaron Norton was the big winner at this year's Presentation Night.  As well as collecting a race win during the year Aaron also took out the Bridge Hotel-sponsored Open-age category Award, the Flack Advisory Dick Kitt Final race and the Rebel Sport Aggregate Award.  An impressive haul for a runner in his second year with the Club!

The season-ending Dick Kitt Final has been run over 6.5km at the Woodvale Recreation Reserve, but the results will not be announced until Presentation Night, which is to be held at the Bendigo Pottery on Saturday September 1.

Biggest field sees first timer runner Logan win!

The biggest field of kids raced in the second last race of the 2019 BAC season this morning at Crusoe Reservoir in good conditions. This is largest field to run this season breaking the previous record by 1.

Grabbing today's win was first time runner Logan Morrice who ran a very impressive time of 4.30 for the 1km distance. Did we mention Logan is only 8 years old!
