Sensational Sebastian has the Final Word

Sebastian Rossi has won the 2019/20 Flack Advisory Distance Series Final over 1000 metres at Bendigo's Tom Flood Sports Centre! The 12 year old ran a time of 3.52 minutes, but 70 years & 1 second, separated first & second with 82 year old John Justice being out sprinted by the young star, with Series Aggregate Winner Justine Graham a further 1 second back in third place.
The top three put distance into the rest of the field with Greg Hilson finishing in 4th, but 8 seconds behind Graham.
Most of the field finished with season best times on the cut & rolled, bowling green like grass surface, with Luke Matthews running the fastest time of 3.09 minutes to finish 6th.
At the presentations led by BAC President Mark Perdon & George Flack from Flack Advisory, Kelvin Niblett received the John Burke Trophy for the Most Consistent athlete throughout the season, whilst Justine Graham collected her Aggregate winners Sash, ahead of joint second placegetters Peter Cowell & Luke Matthews.
Leon Gilbert was recognised for his efforts in handicapping his inaugural season as part of the series!
