Tabitha Goode raced to victory in race 5 of the Bendigo Athletic Club junior 1km race. Tabitha held off a fast finishing Olivia Gaskin by two seconds with Kai Norton running on into 3rd place.
The field of 11 runners saw Edward Boase run the fastest time of 4:32 narrowly beating Kai Norton who ran 4:34.
A good race by all saw everyone finishing within 30 seconds of the winner.
