In the Central Test Junior 1,000 metre event it was a first win for Harper-Lee Basten.  Harper-Lee ran hard early to ensure that the rest of the field had no hope of catching her and crossed the line 30 seconds clear of second place.  Isabella Ellis stormed home to catch Livinia Douglass shortly before the line and they filled second and third places.  Oliver Stewart ran the Fastest Time for the event with a good 4:27 on a slow course.

In this week’s Junior event Baxter Parker, Ava Stewart and Jaymin Boulton are considered to be the best chances in an open field, however Jack Parker would love another win to go with his victory in Race 7.
