No. 7 Reservoir at Kangaroo Flat is the venue this Sunday for the first race of the Flack Advisory Grand Prix Series to be run over 3 kilometres.

A new concept on the Bendigo cross-country calendar, the Series comprises 3 heats over 3k, 4k and then 5k to be run on April 17, 24 and May 1.  The series then culminates in a Final to be run over 5k on May 15.

All races will be run under handicap conditions meaning every runner has a chance of victory.  With total prizemoney of $3,000 for the series up for grabs the racing will be fast and furious.

The senior race will commence at 10:30am and will be followed by a junior race over 1000 metres.  This event looks to be a battle between siblings Ava and Oliver Stewart.
