The Bendigo Athletic Club season all comes down to 6.5km at the Huntly Livestock Exchange at 10:30 on Sunday morning, when 22 runners line up for the Flack Advisory Dick Kitt Memorial Final.  The field has qualified for the Final by competing in BAC races during season and these are the athletes who have finished at the top of the Points Table.

They are competing for a Sash and $675 in prize money, and in addition will earn bonus points for the Rebel Sports Season Aggregate Award.  The eventual winner of this prestigious award wins a $1,000 voucher from Rebel Sport of Kangaroo Flat.

While the entire field is re-handicapped specifically for this event so that all runners have an opportunity to win, those who have demonstrated recent good form must be considered pre-race favourites.  Accordingly when the results are announced at the Club’s Presentation Night at the Bendigo Pottery on Saturday September 5 it wouldn’t surprise to see Kane Ellis, Josh Sait, Kevin Shanahan, Ingrid Douglass and Reza Azimi feature prominently.
