Spend Your Sunday Mornings Having Fun and Getting Fit!

Bendigo Athletic Club is located in central Victoria and  was established in 1974 to cater for athletes of all genders, ages and abilities.  The season goes from April through to September for people who want to run distance or middle distance.  We meet on Sunday mornings in serene bush settings in and around the Bendigo region.  The Club promotes athletics as an enjoyable healthy alternative for people of all ages and abilities.  Times don't matter as much as Health, Fitness and Fun!

Final Field Finalised!

When points were allocated following Sunday's last qualifying run the field for the Dick Kitt Final to be run at the Huntly Livestock Exchange this Sunday August 26th has been announced.  23 runners are eligible to toe the starting line and they are:

Emelia Finishes on a Winning Note!

In yesterday’s junior 1km event Emelia Cutler proved too strong for the event’s youngest runners Alirah Norton and Alexander Basten who held on for second and third spots.  Emelia started the season strongly, winning Race 2 of the season back in May and looks to be ending the season in similar good form.

Next week will also be the final run for the kids with a pairs Relay to be held before the Junior Awards Presentation which will take place at the BAC Clubrooms at the Tom Flood Sports Centre.

Two for Sait!

Andrew Sait has raced to his second victory in the Bendigo Athletic Club Cross Country season, taking out the 3.2km non-penalty handicap held at No. 7 Reservoir.

Earlier in the season, Sait claimed Victory in the 6.5km race 5 held at Whipstick.

A field of 28 runners lined up to contest the Bendigo Living Plant Hire sponsored event with Sait starting mid field off a handicap of 4:50.
